Cable Beach is about 2 km away, a short drive or walk from the property.

Several parks are within a few hundred metres, including Woods Park (0.1 km), Chippindall Park (0.2 km), Sibosado Park (0.3 km) and Dakas Park (0.7 km).

Box jellyfish (stingers) are common between November and April, and Irukandji jellyfish may appear during the wet season; warning signs are posted on the beach. Occasional crocodile sightings have also been reported offshore, so standard safety precautions are advised.

Visitors enjoy camel rides at sunrise and sunset, four‑wheel‑drive excursions on the northern sand, and exploring the clothing‑optional area north of the beach access road. Walking trails in nearby Minyirr Park offer scenic routes behind the red ochre dunes.

Gantheaume Point at the southern end of the beach features a lighthouse, dolphin and whale‑watching, and dinosaur footprints visible at low tide. The low red‑ochre cliffs and wide, flat sands are also distinctive landmarks.

The Broome Regional Aboriginal Medical Service is located about 1.5 km from the property, providing healthcare to the local community.
