Overview

Torbay is a small coastal town 20 kilometres west of Albany in Western Australia’s Great Southern region. Set on the eastern edge of the karri forest, the settlement is surrounded by tall‑tree remnants, granite outcrops and fine white‑sand beaches such as Cosy Corner, Perkins and Muttonbird, all reachable by car. The bay’s popular family beach offers picnic and camping facilities, and the summer swimming lessons and the Bibbulmun Track provide outdoor recreation for residents and visitors alike.
