It sits about 10 km north of the Pacific Highway and 480 km north of Sydney, offering easy road access while retaining a relaxed seaside feel. The village centre, Scotts Head Central, provides a bakery, butchery, bottle shop, fish‑mongery, coffee shop and a real‑estate agency, and a nearby caravan park supplies beachfront cabins for short‑term stays.
