Upper Coomera is a heavily suburbanised suburb of the Gold Coast with many large residential developments and commercial centres. It is considered one of the Gold Coast’s three urban centres and is expected to continue growing rapidly.
According to the 2021 census, Upper Coomera had a population of 27,180 residents.
The suburb sits just west of the M1 Pacific Motorway and is bounded by the Pacific Highway to the east, with Tamborine‑Oxenford Road (State Route 95) running through the area from south‑west to south‑east.
The house is within roughly 1–2 km of Westfield Coomera, a large shopping centre, and is also close to other retail hubs such as Coomera City Centre, Coomera Grand Shopping Centre and The Hub at Days Road.
Upper Coomera is well serviced by several bus routes operated by Surfside Bus Lines/TransLink, and the Coomera railway station on Foxwell Road is about 1.5 km away, providing train access to the Gold Coast line.
The area is famous for the Dreamworld theme park, with rides such as Steel Taipan, The Giant Drop and the former Blue Lagoon water park all within about 1.5 km of the house.
Both the Queensland Government and Gold Coast City Council predict that Upper Coomera will continue to develop at an exponential rate over the next decade, driven by its location and expanding residential and commercial projects.
