Booker Street runs off Thomas Street at the northern edge of Woolooga’s modest town centre, a rural community of 310 residents 221 km north of Brisbane. The streetscape is characteristic of a small Queensland township, with modest dwellings lining the road and the Woolooga Memorial Park, home to a brass Honour Roll, situated at the corner.

Although the Theebine‑to‑Nanango railway once crossed the locality and the Woolooga and Boowoogum stations are now abandoned, the street is today served by the Bauple Woolooga Road (Thomas Street) that provides the primary road link to nearby Kilkivan and Gympie.
