Wulguru is an outer‑southern suburb of Townsville, Queensland, home to 4,389 residents as recorded in the 2021 census. Bounded by the Lavarack Barracks to the west, the Bruce Highway (University Road) to the north and the North Coast railway line to the east, it is traversed by the Townsville Connection Road, providing easy car access to the city centre and nearby suburbs. The suburb sits on mostly flat land about 10 m above sea level, with a quick rise to 100 m in the south‑west where a water‑tank lookout offers panoramic views of Townsville via a walking track off Diamantina Road.
