Yarraman is a town in the Toowoomba Region of Queensland, 181 km northwest of Brisbane at the junction of the New England and D’Aguilar highways. The 2021 census recorded 1,127 residents. Set in a fertile valley amid the Bunya Mountains and an important bird area, the community’s lifestyle revolves around timber, grain, beef and dairy production, with nearby coal mining adding an industrial touch.
