Cowandilla lies just west of Adelaide’s CBD and next to the airport, with Sir Donald Bradman Drive running through and a $45 million upgrade to the Marion Road intersection completed in 2022, ensuring strong road connections. The suburb’s centre is the Western Youth Centre (est. 1956), offering an oval, tennis courts, a clubhouse and facilities for cricket, soccer, tennis, judo, gymnastics, marching and table tennis.
