Lightsview is an inner‑north‑east suburb of Adelaide, situated in the City of Port Adelaide Enfield and bounded by Hampstead Road, Redward Avenue, Fosters Road and Folland Avenue. Officially gazetted in April 2016 from parts of Northgate, Greenacres and Northfield, the area grew around the Lightsview housing development that began in 2006 and was expanded in 2013 with the former Ross Smith Secondary School site. While the bulk of the housing stock is modern, a row of older homes lines the north side of Redward Avenue and the suburb also incorporates land fronting Hampstead Road, including the former high‑school campus and the Hampstead Rehabilitation Centre, a Royal Adelaide Hospital campus.
