Kingston Beach is a residential suburb in the Kingborough LGA, situated about 2 km south‑east of Kingston and perched on the River Derwent at the mouth of Browns Rivulet. The 2021 census recorded 2,305 residents who enjoy a coastal lifestyle supported by a patrolled beach, a dog‑beach, bike park, barbecue area, sailing club, playgrounds and a selection of local shops. The Kingston Beach Surf Life Saving Club monitors the sand from December to April, adding to the safe, family‑friendly atmosphere.

Route B68 (Channel Highway) borders the north‑west, with several local roads linking the suburb to surrounding areas. The community is close to schools such as St Aloysius Catholic College, Kingston Primary School and Southern Christian College, and to shopping at Channel Court and Kingston Town centres within 1.5 km. Its primarily residential setting provides a variety of homes near both the beach and the town of Kingston.
