Wallington is a small locality within the Rural City of Geelong, positioned near Leopold, Curlewis, Ocean Grove and Marcus Hill. At the 2016 census it recorded 1,353 residents. The township began settlement in the early 1870s and its post office opened on 22 February 1872, giving the community a historic centre.
