Broadbeach Waters is a mostly residential suburb of the Gold Coast, edged to the north by the Nerang River and characterised by homes that sit beside an extensive network of man‑made canals. Established as the Gold Coast’s first canal estates in the 1950s (Miami Keys and Rio Vista), the area now comprises several neighbourhoods such as Cypress Gardens, Florida Gardens and Moana, offering a mix of waterfront and inland properties.
