Woombye is a rural town in the Sunshine Coast hinterland, about 100 km north of Brisbane. At the 2021 census it had 3,944 residents. The Bruce Highway forms its eastern boundary and the North Coast railway line runs through the west, with Woombye railway station at the centre.
