Marangeroo is a north‑western Perth suburb, about 18 km from the city centre and within the City of Wanneroo. Bordered by Wanneroo Road, Hepburn Avenue, Mirrabooka Avenue and Marangaroo Drive, its name means “place of blue flowers” in the local Aboriginal language. Residents enjoy the Marangaroo Golf Course and nearby parks such as Decourcey, Le Grand and John Moloney, all within a kilometre. The suburb hosts two primary schools – Marangaroo Primary (est. 1987) and Rawlinson Primary (est. 2003) – and is home to Paralympic athlete Sarah Edmiston.

Public transport is extensive, with several Transperth bus routes on the main streets. Routes 374, 375 and 386 (and 386X) serve Hepburn Avenue and Marangaroo Drive, while 389 and 451 run along Wanneroo Road and Mirrabooka Avenue.
